Christopher Northam
(Aged 46) Managing Director
Until 2001, Chris was an Executive Director of an AIM listed computer services group where, over the preceding 13 years, he had been directly responsible for managing and growing that company's largest operating division into one with a profitable turnover at the time of his leaving of c. £20 million.
In 2002 he became a founding director of Bulgarian Trade Partners Ltd (BGTP) along with Robert Lawes. BGTP was formed to promote trade between Bulgaria and the UK and has quickly established itself as a first point of contact for companies in both countries requiring assistance and advice in this area. The knowledge gained and high level contacts made during this period and following his many visits to Bulgaria combined with his previous corporate experience will be invaluable for the future progress of Balkan Holdings plc.
Chris will divide his time between Bulgaria and the UK and will operate as the Managing Director of both the Holding Company and the Subsidiary Companies.
